Between the American football lines and the oddly quiet atmosphere, the strangeness of this referee getting smacked in the head with a clearance as he blows his whistle and pulls off his hat (or is it a wig?) while he falls seems heightened.
The whole thing is all a bit uncomfortable, so I suggest we just move on.
