Here's a killer find by The Hall of Very Good: It's the tryout tape that Josh Caray ? grandson of Harry, son of Skip, brother of Chip ? posted on YouTube back when the Chicago Cubs were looking for a new public address announcer at Wrigley Field.
The good news: Josh seems like a likable guy in the mold of his late grandfather and refrains from throwing any fisteds! into his descriptions like his brother.
The bad news: The Cubs have since awarded the job to a 24-year-old from Arlington Heights who was willing to be paid in buffalo dogs and those furry Cubs hats.
