That's our offroading pal Robby Gordon at the Dakar Rally. Unfortunately, sparing Fido's life was one of the last high points of the race for Gordon. As NASCAR.com notes, Gordon sustained damage to his car and, as a result, he was disqualified for failing to meet checkpoint times. He'd been in 17th at the time of his disqualification.
The dogs of Argentina are pouring out their water dishes for Gordon's failed Dakar run.
