First round of the Sony Open washed out from rain

I've never been to Hawaii, but I imagine it much like that "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" movie. A bunch of obnoxious shirts, a lot of drinks with fruit in them, and great, great weather.

I guess the latter isn't always truth, as seen on Thursday at the Sony Open. Heavy rains have washed out the first round of the first full-fledged field of the season, forcing officials to try and cram 54 holes into three days at Waialee.

So what to do without live golf this Thursday? The Tour Report did a good job of rounding up a lot of the player's tweets when they found out play was suspended, so you can see what golfers do when a delay affects their job.

Or you could just be happy that as the snow continues to pile up where you live, even Hawaii is experiencing some not so great weather.
