Since Blackburn's new poultry magnate owners are apparently convinced that they've bought an MLS club, they're going after both Ronaldinho and Spurs target David Beckham. And Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is apparently keenly aware that while his club has become a big spender, there's one thing they simply can't compete with.
From the AFP:
"I see Blackburn are in [for Beckham] as well. Maybe they have more to offer him. They can offer him free chicken for life and we can't compete with that."
That's right, Harry. No other club can. Not even Man City. Once world-class footballers catch on the to availability of free chicken for life at Blackburn, it's pretty much going to be game over for everyone else.
Unless, of course, another Premier League club is bought by a pizza company, then it'll be a true transfer market competition.
