Coming in to Sunday's match against Chelsea, Aston Villa had lost five of their last six matches and the angry mob was sharpening their pitchforks and setting their torches ablaze outside manager Gerard Houllier's house. So when John Terry scored to put Chelsea back in front by a score of 3-2 in the 89th minute, "confident," "reborn" and "no longer like drinking wine out of a box and crying" could accurately describe how they probably felt at that moment.
Then Villa's 21-year-old defender Ciaran Clark scored in the 91st minute to end the match at 3-3. Carlo Ancelotti's face in the picture above pretty much says it all.
After the match, Ancelotti insisted that Chelsea can still win the title while his once magical eyebrow silently wept and popped open a new box of red.
