DTotD: Legrottaglie takes a knee to the head in Milan debut

Defender Nicola Legrottaglie made his AC Milan debut against Lazio on Tuesday after joining the club from Juventus before the end of the transfer window. Unfortunately, he probably doesn't remember any of it.

Entering the match at halftime, Legrottaglie made it to the 82nd minute of the 0-0 draw before Lazio striker Libor Kozak kneed him in the head as he was on all fours for a low header. The blow opened up a large gash on Legrottaglie's forehead and he had to be carried off on a stretcher with his neck stabilized.

Legrottaglie needed stitches and a visit to the hospital along with teammate Daniele Bonera, who Legrottaglie replaced at halftime because Kozak elbowed him in the face.

That Libor Kozak is a sneaky fella. Not only does he knock opponents out of the match, but he does it so they can't even remember to stay away from him next time.
