Childress will honor Intimidator with decal

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. — Richard Childress Racing and Earnhardt-Childress Racing Engines will honor the Intimidator with a decal throughout the entire Speedweeks festivities.

The decal will be present on all eight of RCR's race cars, pit boxes and transporters. ECR employees will wear commemorative hats throughout the week.

"All of us at RCR and ECR are honored to pay tribute to Dale on this 10^th anniversary," Richard Childress said in a statement. "His legacy is still felt every day at RCR, ECR and throughout the world. We hope all of Dale’s fans appreciate this salute to their hero and ours."

Kevin Harvick's No. 29 Chevrolet has had a small 3 decal on its rear driver's-side window since the second race of the 2001 season.
