On Cup off weekend, Kasey Kahne dominates Truck race

Maybe Kasey Kahne needs to run in the Camping World Truck Series more often?

Kahne, who hasn't won in the Sprint Cup Series since the 2009 Atlanta race, dominated the Truck race at Darlington on Saturday evening, pulling away on the final restart with four laps to go for his third win in four Truck Series starts.

The 147 lap race was marred by 10 cautions -- including one on the first turn of the first lap -- and a seven minute red flag as many drivers had trouble with the tricky egg-shaped Lady in Black. 16 drivers were making their first visit to Darlington.

The red flag was for a crash involing Ricky Carmichael and Johanna Long.

Kahne was driving for Kyle Busch's truck team a race after Busch won the Phoenix race in his own truck. Kahne drove for Busch last year at Pocono and finished second.
